What is a professional organizer? A professional organizer provides information and assistance to help others organize to meet their needs. A professional organizer guides, encourages and educates clients about basic principles of organizing by offering support, focus and direction -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: What does the free initial consultation involve? A: At this meeting we do a walkthrough of your home together - looking at your problem areas and talking about your challenges and desires for those areas (rest assured, I've seen much worse than yours and can see beyond the clutter !). It's not easy letting a stranger come into your personal space, but I try to put all my clients at ease and am non-judgmental. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: How much will this cost me? A: The initial consultation is free. Within 24 hours you will hear back from me once I've formulated a "plan of attack." You decide which rooms you want me to organize, whether it be 1 room, 2 rooms, or all rooms! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Do you install shelving and closet systems? A: No. I de-clutter and organize your spaces, but, I am able to put you in touch with those who can. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: How much time will the organizing take? A: This truly depends on how quickly you can make decisions about what to keep and what to let go of and how much stuff you have. I leave "homework" assignments which are things that you can do before I return that can often reduce the overall time and cost of organizing your home. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Do you have insurance? A: Yes, my services are covered by a General Liability Policy issued through Penn National Insurance. |
